Have you noticed the difference when your’re in a positive state as opposed to a negative?
Meditation is a practice of focussed awareness, so if you meditate on positive emotions you’re more likely to get used to the feel of them – and able to guide yourself towards them.
Meditation also brings us more understanding of our mind, so if we can see where our negative thoughts are triggered, we’re more likely to be able to respond appropriately, instead of reacting inappropriately.
